Spend hours wining, dining and toe-tapping to live jazz at Old Pasadena’s Wine and Jazz Walk from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. This “walk” is different from most food and wine events since the vendors are not serving at booths but at their actual businesses, so attendees walk to all the venues, some of which will feature live jazz performances.
At least you can pretend to work off that bottle of wine you just drank as you walk from The Crepe Vine to Vertical Wine Bistro.
For $40 you can’t beat the decadent food from local favorites like Holly Street Bar and Grill, redwhite+bluezz, The Crepe Vine, Twin Palms and Vertical Wine Bistro and liquid courage from Bodega Wine Bar, D’Vine Wine and Heritage Wine Co. in case you decide to showcase your dance moves.
If that isn’t reason enough to attend, proceeds will benefit the California Philharmonic and Five Acres, which began 120 years ago as Boys’ and Girls’ Aid Society of Los Angeles County and helps children and families deal with and prevent abuse through treatment, education and various programs.
So if you’re looking to service your appetite, restless leg syndrome and fellow man, spend an early evening at Old Pasadena’s Wine and Jazz Walk.
